Whoo–hooo! Excelsior Springs has a local food grocery store? They are so lucky–the old downtown of ES is starting to look most attractive.

It looks like Sage Moon Naturals will be there at their Grand Opening this weekend. The store calls their weekly farmer meetings, “Meet the Farmers.” Yes, but doesn’t that title answer all your questions? If you tell them that you heard about the event from Local Harvest, you receive 10% off everything you purchase that weekend.

If you tell them that Even My Dog mentioned it, you receive no discount, but perhaps a confused nod. Might be worth something if you’re into that sort of thing.

I can’t tell from their website who owns Naturally Local. We’ll just have to check it out.
